LOCAL SERVICE
Our local, in-house service is available in the case of damaged items, service requests and replacement. We also offer an extended Furniture Protection Plan protects your client's furniture from accidents and incidents, and picks up where manufacturer warranties ends.

If furniture and accessories are not your primary focus, or if you need to transition to another project, we can assist your client and you earn a commission. Refer your client to us, andwe will complete the design according to your vision. You will receive a 5% referral fee on their initial purchase.
To qualify for the referral commission, please schedule an appointment with your showroom contact before your client’s visit. During this appointment, inform us of the client’s selections and your design direction. Share your selections, moodboards, etc so we understand your design direction.
We ask that you meet with our sales manager, complete the necessary paperwork and make all arrangements before the client visits. Commission is not available unless arrangements have been made prior to the client visiting the showroom.
We pay qualified designers a 10% commission on sales sold directly from The Tin Roof to the designer’s client. These salesare invoiced at our regular in store pricing and sold directlyto the client. To qualify for the commission, the designer must be present in the showroom with your client for the entirety of their shopping.
Please make an appointment with your showroom contact (or our Sales Manager) prior to visiting the showroom. Your showroom contact will operate in the background of your showroom visit with your client. They will answer any questions regarding products and help direct the visit, but allow you to be completely in the driver’s seat with your client.
• We will need a current W9 prior to the sale
• Complete a designer sales purchase order/agreement with the sale
• Your showroom contact will update you on the progress of your sale, for you to update your client; ideally the contact is 100% with the designer, not the designer’s client
Our designer discount is for the designer shopping FOR their client. We offer all the products in both showrooms at a 40% discount off Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Our generous designer discount is intended for the designer to purchase the items and resell them to the client at a mark- up of their choosing.
• The purchase is invoiced directly to the designer and paid for by the designer
• To The Trade purchase agreement is completed prior to order being placed
• A 50% deposit is required on all invoices, with payment in full prior to delivery
Our pricing includes:
• Shipping to our local distribution center
• Receiving in our distribution center
• Up to two months storage
• Assembly prior to pick upAdditional months of storage are available for a small fee.Invoices must be paid in full upon arrival for extended storage periods.We offer in-home delivery and set up services as well.
RUGS - 50% off MSRP
Our entire rug selection is offered at a 50% discount off our Suggested Retail. This includes shipping to our distribution center.
CLEARANCE - ADDITIONAL 10% OFF
Designers may take an additional 10% off floor sample and clearance prices at The Tin Roof and Bide & Burgeon. These items are clearly marked with a yellow or red clearance tag, or a monthly promotion tag.
• The invoice is in the designer name
• Clearance items are sold as is
• Clearance items are final sales
• Payment is required in full at time of purchase and items may be held in our warehouse for up to two months
Designers may pass a discount of 10% off to their client. The designer must accompany the client in the showroom for all visits for discount to apply. Designer and client will work with their showroom contact. Discount may only be applied if the designer is present.
PLEASE NOTE:
Customers may not use a “designer discount” without their designer present in the showroom.
